Successful ... in a pinch!... but that was not a problem, because Crystal and Stacey both were free to shoot with me. On short notice, and battling sickness, Crystal and Stacey modeled colorful Hawaiian sarongs I acquired on my December work-trip to Hawaii.
Crystal and Stacey have modeled for me on multiple occasions. In fact, Crystal and Stacey have modeled for me more often than any other model. Both have done the sarape series and vintage-inspired series for me. Crystal has done Joshua Tree, and later this year, Stacey will do Joshua Tree as well.
Besides modeling for me, both Crystal and Stacey are my friends. Though yesterday was the first time I have photographed them on the same day, and yesterday they met for the first time. We shot for only three hours at DM Gremlin Studios in Long Beach. But the time was well-spent. Plenty of good photographs, and time spent with friends. Reliable friends.
